The short version
pdf-delight is built to collect as little as possible. No account is required, files aren't stored, and there are no tracking cookies. This page explains exactly what little data passes through the site, and why.
Your files
Most tools process your file entirely in your browser — it's never uploaded anywhere. Tools that require server-side processing handle your file only in memory for that single request and discard it immediately afterward. We never store, log, or look at the contents of your files.
Payment information
If you choose to support pdf-delight, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. pdf-delight's servers never receive or store your card details — Stripe handles that directly, under Stripe's own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). If you enter an email address, it's passed to Stripe only so they can send you a payment receipt; pdf-delight itself doesn't store it.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand overall traffic — page views and general usage trends. It's cookieless and doesn't collect personally identifying information.
Cookies
pdf-delight sets one cookie, purely to remember your preferred language across visits. It isn't used for tracking or advertising.
Children's privacy
pdf-delight isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Continuing to use pdf-delight after a change means you accept the updated policy.
